As you may be aware, old style £10.00 notes are soon to be taken out of circulation.
We ask that you do not send your child into school with any old £10.00 notes after Friday 23rd March, as we will be unable to accept them.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Due to the forecast being so cold this week, please can you send your child into school with the appropriate warm clothing to be worn outdoors during break time and lunch time.
Should we need to close the school due to unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to contact you via text in the first instance. We will also update the school’s website.
Poole Rotary members have been in school this week to give Year 10 students the opportunity to prepare for and experience a mock interview.
Students have prepared their CV and personal statement during their English lessons and have had to face an unknown business person to answer those tricky questions that might be thrown at them in future interviews.
We have been working with the Rotary for many years now, as part of the ongoing careers work we do. This is a valuable experience which we could not offer without the support of their volunteers, who are experienced in offering students advice about making future applications
We would like to thank Poole Rotary for their continued support.
Year 7 students have been visited this week by House of Maths to get involved in some fun maths activities on probability, geometry and Euler’s Formula. Thank you Barney for an excellent morning.
