St. Edward’s are celebrating excellent results, with double the number of students scoring A*/A in their ‘A’ Levels than last year.
Jing Jing Chen and her brother arrived in the UK four years ago, unable to speak English. She leaves us to study Economics at Exeter with A*,A*,A*,A*. Ben Galton achieved A,A,A in Biology, Maths and Physics, and will now study Medicine at Keele University.
Head of Sixth form, Catherine Murphy-Parry said “ As an academic sixth form, our students have risen to the challenge of new ‘A’ Levels exceptionally well, and have performed brilliantly across a broad range of subjects, thanks to their hard work, and the inspiring teaching that they receive at St. Edward’s Sixth form.”
With 98% of our students passing their ‘A’ Levels, and nearly three quarters achieving A* – C, St. Edward’s continues to be a highly successful centre of post 16 education in Poole.
