During the Easter holidays, 34 students from Year 8 to 13 went on a school trip to Rome. Students were lucky enough to have Mass with Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square, which is a once in a life-time event opportunity and will be something neither students or staff will forget.
Students also toured the historic Colosseum and enjoyed a walking tour of Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. They enjoyed exploring the beautiful St. Peter’s Basilica and visiting some of the most iconic sightseeing places such as the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. They even got the opportunity to cheer those on running the Rome Marathon!
Our students have expressed how incredible they found the trip and were a true credit to our school whilst in Rome.
